The Towers: Capacity and Round vs. Long Tables

Hi Fellow Rhodie Brides,

There have been a couple of threads regarding capacity at the Towers.  We too are grappling with this issue after realizing how quickly 150 adds up.  Thinking we would like to possibly expand to 160 tops, but worried about adding the extra round table, which would total 16 tables of 10 guests (8 on either side of the bridge) versus 15; we are not having a sweetheart table.

Previous Towers brides/guests, what are your thoughts?

Has anyone found that using the long tables helped with capacity?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Long tables are not a good space-saver in that room. You definately are better off with the round tables - the 60in ones and just moving them a bit further down the room. :)

Thank you!  I appreciate the insight...such a beautiful space but guest lists add up quicker than we realized!  : )
