THEY ACCEPTED OUR OFFER!!!! FI just called me; they accepted the 115k with the 3.5% settlement help, and they agreed to do all major repairs (we have to do minor)!!!!!It was so funny, FI called me and was like, umm, do we have any extra moving boxes? I was confused at first, but then I got it and started screaming!Lura, looks like we are going to be neighbors!

FI just signed the papers to close, we hopefully will do inspection sometime next week, and then hopefully will settle the last week of August.

Just heard from FI, he said Inspection is Monday, and Settlement is August 27. That gives us about 3 weeks to get everything done, before we have to be out of the apartment (Thank GOD!)...He said all the repairs and updates should take about 2 weeks, which is good.No pics yet, my mom has them on her camera. And honestly, I don't want to post any yet, not until the ugly bright blue plush carpet is ripped up, the walnut (!!!) floors are refinished, and the atrocious walls are painted different colors. The completely purple bathroom (yes, sink, toilet, tub, and tile) needs to be redone, but it will wait until we get our tax credit. It's at least functional.The only think that would make this week the best week EVER is if I find out about surgery (in my favor of course!)
