How many layers of cake (2,3,4) and layers of filing (2 or 3) is in each tier of your cake? How many tiers will be in your cake? TIA

    2 layers in each tier, 1 layer of filing. The cake will be 3 tiers.

    two layers of cake in each tier (4 tiers) and a layer of filling in each tier (rasberry if I can find a really good recipe)  my future MIL is doing the cake and she doesn't have one.

    2 tiers, 3 layers of cake with 2 layers of filling... this is the way I was taught to make them...
