Newbie has questions about WLS

Hi guys, I am new here. My FH and I have done everything backwards, no ring yet, its still being made, but we have placed a deposit on the venue and hired a wedding coordinator. Our wedding date is is 2/26/2011. I will be having weight loss surgery before the end of the year, and just wanted to find out if any other brides have had WLS and how far out from the wedding should I start looking for dresses and wedding bands.     I'd wait till Summer/ Fall 2010 to even start looking at dresses. Your body will be soooo different in that amount of time after weight loss surgery that you won't know what style to get until you level out. What type of surgery are you having? I've never had one, but I've worked with some people who have gone through it and could relay their experiences.

    I am leaning toward the Gastric Sleeve, but I have also considered the lap-band.
