Having a friend marry us....

I know in Colorado that you can marry yourselves...so if we are having a friend marry us then do they need to become ordained? If so....any good recommendations of sites? Thanks so much!!!

    no they do not need to be ordained.  If you have a friend marry you then you just sign the license & "self-solomnize" your marriage...its pretty easy.  Several of the girls on this board have done it :)  Good luck

    super easy. just check with your clerk and recorder - they can assist as well.

    They cannot sign the license as the officiant if they are not authorized to perform marriages.  You would self-solomnize and your friend would just conduct the ceremony.
