    Hi there!

I am new to the board and decided to give some Florida brides good advice! Lauren from Piccadilly Pics is absolutely amazing. She is so fun and outgoing which puts you at ease right from the beginning. She has such creative style. Our engagement pics were awesome and I cant wait to see the final pics from the wedding in three months!! Also her husband is a lighting specialist so they work out great packages if you use him to help with your reception or ceremony lighting! I cant wait to get married!

If you are in the Austin area of Texas, DO NOT USE Steve Armstrong Photography.  Worst choice we made.  The photos fell short of professional as well as the professionalism of the owner/photographer.  High cost, poor quality!

We had n incredible photographer! Robyn Rachel (www.robynrachelphotography.com) possesses the passion, understanding, the quality in product and service a couple desires when hiring their wedding photographer. We decided to  have a destination wedding, which required more than the average planning and photography was a huge part of the decision making process. Robyn was the one photographer that had everything we were looking for...unique talent, great attitude, likes adventure (hello destination wedding), a keen sense of what the clients want and flexible pricing. She was able capture who we really are while creating a fun experience at the same time. So, we decided to take her from snowy Chicago to sunny Puerto Rico with us to shoot our special day. The images are truly breathtaking and we can't stop looking through them! They're gorgeous!

Our engagement session was a great ice-breaker. It gave us the chance to learn about each other and once we saw the photos, we knew Robyn had a clear idea of who we were, giving the images an intimate touch.

Additionally, I hired Robyn for a boudoir shoot and, ladies, if you ever want to WOW your new husband, give him a sexy wedding gift he can't stop staring at. And have Robyn Rachel shoot it!  My budoir shoot was not only comfortable, fun and had me feeling(and looking) like a model, but Robyn also added a sleek, modern twist on classic, sexy shots. I couldn't believe my eyes! Thank you again, Robyn!

As if Robyn hadn't captured enough of us through our engagement shoot, boudoir shoot, and documenting our wedding, we wanted her perspective on another aspect of our wedding experience...the Encore Session. We had a day after our wedding in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico with Robyn's creative, keen eye. The images are bright, crisp, textured, flirty, fun, sexy, and unique. The is a moment my husband and I will always cherish and we look at our photos and are blown away with Robyn's perspective. Again, she outdid herself! Oh, and did I mention we were able to view them only 2 weeks after the wedding? Pretty impressive!

Along with Robyn's energy for her photography and attentive client focus, she is extremely precise and knowlegable about what her work.  The vivid colors are exactly what she sees and THAT is true talent! Anyone can pick up a camera and click a button, but someone who can truly capture what is seen though the lens has a remarkable skill.  Mostly, Robyn cares about her clients. We felt we not only got the best photos we could have wanted, but we made a true connection with someone who we'll know forever. She went above and beyond for us and we look forward to Robyn documenting more special moments in our lives.

She'll go anywhere to shoot, and has already shot 4 destination wedding this year.
Here is a short slideshow of our pics:

E-Motions Photography: Litza and Angel - They are amazing and so much fun to work with. They include engagement photos in most of their packages if not all of them. They made it fun and relaxing. On our wedding day they were so calming and professional. They made us all laugh and feel at ease. We received picture previews that were amazing! I cannot wait to get the rest back. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are perfectionist and very kind, lovable people.

Photography Review- 4Eyez Photography in Dallas, TX

There is not too much I can say about my wedding photos that my facebook friends haven't already said:

"Yall look like yall came out of a magazine"
"I swear this picture is so priceless"
    "love love love this picture!"
" Awwwwww..... This looks like a movie clip!"

I loved working with Pam and John from 4 Eyez. I am not really a picture person and I agonized about how my photos would turn out. When I saw the first one of me and my husband together,I literally became teary-eyed. The joy, beauty, and love I felt that day was definately captured. For the price, I feel as if 4Eyez Photography was the best investment I made the entire wedding. They have excellent pricing and multiple packages that include prints, online gallery, editing, and more. They showed up on time, was always prompt with repsonding to any questions I had, and very patient with someone who knows NOTHING about posing! But the proof is in the pudding so see for yourself!

Texas Photographer  www.vekphoto.com was our choice.  they truly were an experiece from point a to z.  I was referred to them by a couple of people actually.  I work in interior design and I wanted someone who is creative, which is actually really hard to find, and when you do find one they were always over my budget.  These guys were affordable and didn't miss a beat, and super creative:)...highly recommend them.

Our weddding is in 17 days and one thing I am not nervous about is my photographer! We did our engagement photos a few weeks ago with Kathleen and I could not be more excited. I had seen her work before choosing her, but this was our first session with her. I was so impressed with her professional, yet relaxed and fun approach. Of course, we are easy subjects when it comes to clowning around. We have a running joke with our friends about the "bum wine" Mad Dog 20/20. We mentioned possibly incorporating that into a picture or two and Kathleen just ran with it. The result was a few of the funniest pictures ever! I will just give you a teaser, but you absolutely have to check out the rest on her blog (find via her website www.kvoneill.com)  Also check out this picture of us sitting up against a tree with our initials engraved in the tree - they weren't our initials when she took the shot!! Great editing :0) Kathleen is an up and coming photographer who brings so much energy and fresh ideas. I can not wait for my wedding <3

Love Love LOVE the guys at Dreamlife Photos & Video.  We were married last month & had the pleasure of Di & Michael from Dreamlife Photo & Video here in New York capturing our memories.  They fitted seamlessly into our day & were wonderful at putting us & our guests so at ease in order to capture beautiful & natural photos.   I especially loved that there were so many photos that we didn't even ask for.  The most magical moment caught was a lovely candid photo of my mother & my now mother-in-law sharing a laugh outside the church...just beautiful!  A very special thank you to our videographer for ensuring he got around the room on the day capturing best wishes from everyone & making sure the ceremony & speeches were captured clearly. I would like to submit the following review of the aforementioned chapel:

My (now) husband and I wed at the Chapel of the Flowers on 11-11-11 at 11 a.m. and it was hands down the best wedding experience ever.  The entire staff, from limo drivers and photographers to coordinators and managers, was helpful and patient.  As the day got closer and the masses began heading to Vegas, we got a little nervous that we might be treated like cattle on our big day.  This couldn't have been farther from the truth.  Even our guests noticed and commented on how beautiful everything was and how they felt it seemed we got a very personal experience and detailed care.  If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't change a thing...except maybe a few more photo ops!  Both my husand and I were married before and have been in several weddings and this wedding was by far the most relaxed, fun, and beautiful experience either of us has ever had.  Thank you Chapel of the Flowers!  We'll be sure to renew our vows with you too!!  I'm thinking we'll see you 11-11-22!  :-D

I hired Sarah Anne Photography for my wedding October 1, 2011 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and she would not return my phone calls or emails for almost 2 months after the wedding. I wanted my pictures!!! I had to show up at her house unannounced to get them!! She broke the contract, her camera broke at the wedding and she didn't have a backup AND my pictures were awful!!! DO NOT USE HER!!!!! she is very unprofessional!!!! I don't want her to ruin anyone else's special day!!

Wow, what can we say? Sunflowers Studios Photography is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  When we first saw the pictures we were at a loss for words. The pictures captured not only our entire day, but who we are. During a tireless search to find a photographer for our wedding we must've seen a thousand other sites, but none of them compared to the images we saw on sunflowersstudios.com. We knew right away that you would be able to capture the days events like no other. We had an idea what to expect, but the pictures still turned out better than we could have imagined.

My fiancee, Ken was a photojournalist for NASA as well as videographer. His brother and father were also photographers and he works with a team of professional photographers as well. Everyone who has seen the photos, including our family members, have been amazed and have commented on how gifted you are.
We really had a lot of fun. You helped us feel relaxed and comfortable on an otherwise potentially stressful day. We can't thank them enough for all the work they have done and we will be sure to recommend their services to everyone! Their work has truly made us the envy of all the other unfortunate souls who weren't able to have them as their photographer.

My wedding was June 18, 2011. Greg Ross, the owner, and I had wonderful dialogue before the wedding so I had no worries. He sent one of his employees to record my wedding and things seemed fine. After my wedding, Greg sent an email requesting additional materials for editing such as pictures and music. I sent these items in August and have NOT HEARD FROM HIS SINCE. In December 2011, I called a few times and sent emails just to get an update on the status as to when I would receive my DVD and to date, he has not returned ANY of my calls or answered any of my emails. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and he has not responded. I'M CURRENTLY PREPARING A CASE TO TAKE HIM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT TO RECOUP MY MONEY. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed because now I won't have a video of my wedding.

We were married at the Cantabury Wedding Chapel in the Excabiler Hotel and Casino on 02/11/12. Our wedding photos were taken by a CASHMAN Professional with CASHMAN Photo, 3595 South Highland Drive, Las Vegas, Nv. 89103,         888-450-3686. Our wedding pictures were absolutely amazing and beautiful.

We came back to review our wedding photos on 02/12/12 and were showed our pictures by a consultant (Dee Dee Lovato). She was very informative.  She reviewed the package options with us.  We were very pleased with the prices of the packages and were better priced than some prices in our area.  In short we were very pleased with our experience and would recommend them to anyone.

I would just like to write some praises for my awesome wedding photographer! Our wedding took place near Toronto, and he was ours for the entire day. His price was reasonable and the results were phenomenal. I especially LOVED the album he designed for us. It's by Queensberry. You can find him at www.pavelkounine.com. He might be running a referral discount, but I'm not sure. Say Yvonne referred you.

Dream Works Imagery posting there looks impressive, but don't be fooled.  Like a slick car salesman, the car is clean and looks impressive until you look under the hood.  Under the hood you will find a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau"  for Brad Hodge and even more on YELP!  I'm just saying, like a used car you may take it to your mechanic to evaluate it before you by so should you for this.  Last years business name was Hodge Photography and before that ???

Do Not use Alyssa Michelle Photography or A&R Photography out of Laguna Hills, CA.

In January I began looking for a photographer for my May 5, 2012 wedding. I did an internet search and joined a few 'wedding' sites, looking for photographers in my area and to see examples/photos that had been done and to see what I liked.

I ran across Alyssa's Facebook page for her photography and 'liked' it. I liked her style of photography and thought she was very talented. Shortly after liking her page - she friend requested me. I accepted and then shortly after, received a message from her, thanking me for liking her page and asking when my wedding was.

Through the course of messages, we came up with a package that I could afford. She was going to give me a great deal and throw in some extras that made everything sound wonderful. I knew she was a young photographer, but figured we could both help each other out - me with my tight budget and her with experience and more pictures for her portfolio.

My Mother in Law (to be), my coordinator and I met with Alyssa and her partner, up at the church where the ceremony was going to be held and I gave her my deposit. I was expecting a contract right then - but she said that she forgot to bring it and would get one to me right away. That was on March 19, 2012. I figured we still had a little bit until the wedding and all should be fine. Especially after meeting her and her partner - I really liked them and was thrilled to be able to get such a great deal with someone who I really liked.

On April 9th I still hadn't received a contract, so I messaged Alyssa and reminded her to shoot me a contract. I didn't hear from her until April 12 - saying that she was going to send it to me, but had to retype it. She didn't send it to me until April 15. When I received the contract, it was basically blank.

It didn't include my name or any of the important information (IE: how much I was paying, how many pictures I would receive, etc.). I emailed her back, right away, asking her to include all of the basic information. I couldn't send that to my coordinator without anything on it.

I think this is where everything went wrong, somehow. She sent me back the revised contract, including only the basic information - basically copy and pasted from my email and added into the contract. I sent it off to my coordinator and she read it over.

She had a few basic suggestions of things she wanted to add to the contract to make it complete. Things like: The photographer and her partners names, what would happen in case of equipment malfunction, times she would arrive and then leave, an outline of what she would photograph.

I sent Alyssa the email from my coordinator and asked if she could get a contract back to me asap - so we could wrap this all up (it was 3 weeks until my wedding and I NEEDED a contract!). Attached to the email from my coordinator was a list of family and friends that Alyssa requested, so that she would know who I wanted to get photo's with.

I didn't hear from her for a few days, but thought I would give her a day or so to get the contract back to me. I texted her on April 24th asking if she was going to get me a contract, that I wanted to wrap this all up so I didn't have to worry about it.

She texted me back saying that we needed to talk because my coordinator was asking for unreasonable things to be added to the contract. I asked her what she meant and she said that it is unreasonable to add family/friends names to the contract (of photo's we wanted), because what if they didn't show up - I could sue her for not getting their photo.

I explained that we didn't want those names added to the contract, it was just a list of photo's we wanted. Something she had asked for. I asked her to re-read the email and let me know when she could get me a contract. She said she would send it right over.

All the next week (2 weeks before my wedding) I tried to call, text, email and message Alyssa - with barely any response. She promised me 3 times that week that I would have a contract - but she wouldn't send it or call me back. By Friday, April 27th, I was really worried. This was THE last thing that I needed to wrap up and I had this sinking feeling that she may just flake on me. That Friday night she told me that I would have it when she got home from work, so I crossed my fingers and prayed that it would still work out. After all, I really did like Alyssa and thought she was talented. Friday night came and went and I didn't receive anything, not even a phone call, text or message.

Saturday I sent her texts, emails, voicemails - all to no avail. I was feeling so sad and upset thinking that she wouldn't even give me the courtesy of calling me back - it was a week before my wedding!

I ended up remembering her partners name (thank god) and looked her up on Facebook. I sent her a message, explaining what was going on and she didn't know anything about it. She apologized profusely and let me know that what we wanted added to the contract was completely standard and she didn't understand what was going on. I explained to her that this put me in an awful position - I not only had to try to find a photographer 6 days before my wedding - but I wasn't sure she would even give me my deposit back (leaving me with a smaller budget than I already had!).

Her partner apologized profusely and ended up going down to where Alyssa works, picked up my deposit and drove it to my home - herself. 4 days before my wedding....

I think Alyssa is talented, but unfortunately she is not established herself professionally. She was rude to me, non responsive and actually blamed me for all of this (because we were asking for unreasonable things?). I never even received an apology for her not understanding the email that was sent.

I debated whether or not I should write this - but I don't think its fair to other brides out there. This was a sad experience that I wouldn't wish on someone else - especially a bride to be who is nervous enough already...
