Unsure when to have Rehearsal Dinner

Our venue holds there rehearsals on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Would I hold the rehearsal dinner on that night, or on the Friday before?

    Also voting for the night of the rehersal - you will have everyone already gathered together and they will have already scheduled time for you in their day.  Having it over 2 days might cause more conflicts with people's schedules.

    Definitely the night of the rehersal. I'm noticing Thursday rehearsals are becoming increasingly common. In fact, my future in-laws gave me a bit of a look when I said our rehearsal would be Friday. So, I think having a couple days between the rehearsal/dinner and wedding is fine. Gives you Friday to tie up any loose ends or just relax!
