Father Daughter Dance

I've had a hard time deciding on a Father-Daughter dance song because I just hate the super cheesy ones, but was wondering what ya'll thought about using "carolina in my mind" since I grew up in SC, but don't live there anymore. Has anyone else thought of using this song, is it too impersonal?

    I think that sounds great & is a good alternative to the overly sappy songs.

    I love James Taylor (and that song!) And, if it holds some kind of meaning to you, use it. I'm doing "Here comes the Sun" by The Beatles cause my dad loves them and raised me to listening to them (Not your typical Father-Daughter song, but I like it!).
