Bachelorette Party in Vegas?

My friends and I are thinking about going to Vegas this summer for my bachelorette party, but are having trouble planning it. Has anyone been to Las Vegas or know where the good places are? We are wanting to book 4 nights in a suite and all split the cost (there will be 4 of us total). Any suggestions on hotels? We want something fun and bachelorette-y but also classy. So far the Flamingo looked like a candidate and maybe the MGM Grand.

Has anyone had their party here? What would you recommend?

Depends on your priorities and budget. I would stay on strip to make life easier. We always stay at Caesars because we like their pools. I heard Monte Carlo has a pool party type thing, so if that's what you are looking for you might want to research which hotel pools have parties etc.

I have stayed at both but not for b-parties. However, I liked Flamingo better than MGM because it was centrally located on the strip, while MGM was way on one end and took longer to get to other places. Also MGM is HUGE. It took us 15 min. literally to get to our rooms from the time we walked in the front door.

The Flamingo also has a nice pool area. If you stay there, I'd try to get one of their newer GO rooms.

Flamingo has a nice pool; and is mid strip (i think) so you can walk to other casino's/clubs easily.

Depends what you are interested in... the Palms is very club oriented but its off the strip so you need to taxi from here to there.

I personally love Mandalay Bay!  Its at the end of the strip but I loved the Rum Jungle and then it was next to Excalibur where we liked club Ra.  Mandalay Bay also had an awesome pool area!

New York New York is one of my favorite casual places (across from MGM) has Coyote Ugly and an awesome dueling Piano bar that is fun.

In Vegas you will want your walking shoes for sure.  So much variety, it really depends on what you are looking for.  A taxi is not too expensive to split to move you around the strip and then you can walk to the surrounding hotels.

If you are dressing up in heels, make sure they are comfy for you will walk a lot if you do not want to stay in one place.

check out hotwire, we got a deal of a suite at the palazzo and using online forums its pretty easy to narrow down which hotel is being offered at the hidden rate on hotwire. Look at the clubs and pool parties and figure out which youd want to goto most and pick a hotel there.

Ive stayed at harrahs which is very central on the strip so taxis to anything were pretty cheap but they dont have a very good pool.

The palms has 3 clubs and awesome pool party but is off teh strip so cabs ot the strip will add up.

teh wynn, encore, palazzo, and venatian are all right next to each other with several clubs and pool parties between them.

Its all based on what you want to do and where youd want to go.

Suggestions are going to really be dependent on your budget - if you can swing it I would look into a Wraparound Suite at the Cosmo (easily the best regular suite on the Strip, imo) but they do not come cheap.  (And just so you're aware, most suites in Vegas will only have a single king bed.)  Venetian/Palazzo has beautiful suites, MGM Grand just did a full renovation.  Look at the petite suites at TI, too.  The Flamingo is ok - you get what you pay for so there are a lot of drunken frat parties in the hallways at all hours of the night.  But if you're really just showering and pre-gaming in the room you'll be cool.  They do also have an excellent pool.  :)  You might also check out Planet Hollywood which has a great location and a younger crowd but is also a good budget choice.  If you're a first-timer to Vegas I would stick to the Strip - no Hard Rock or Rio or Palms.  You will spend an unbelievable amount on cabs if you stay off Strip.

I cannot recommend enough that you check out the Las Vegas forums on TripAdvisor.  Tons of information on where to go and what to do.  Jack Coulton's website is the best place for info on clubs.  And check out SmarterVegas.com, a third party agreggator that compiles coupon codes and redirects you to the hotel to book.  Always book refundable rooms through the hotel if possible - Vegas room rates change daily and if the price drops you can re-book and save some cash!  Also, sign up for emails from the hotels that interest you.  You WILL get offers for reduced prices - the spam is worth it.

Have fun!  Vegas is such an awesome place to party - I'm sure you'll have a blast!
