Adoptive father dance

I do not have a relationship with my bio father. My step father has adopted me about a year ago and has been in my life for 7. So even though he part of my adult life he is more than a father to me than anything I've ever known. I'm having trouble picking a song because all the ones I like are about the "little girl ". Any suggestions?

    my go to song is always "My Wish" from Rascal Flatts.
    Others that are  not so "little girl" like are:
    "Wonderful World"
    "Stand By Me"
    "I'll Be There"

    What kind of music do you and your adoptive like?  Have you asked his opinion!?  Maybe let him pick if you cannot

    He didn't have to be Brad paisley its a song about a child and his stepfather
