I love Etsy. I order from it once a week. And I feel a little better about spending my money frivously when I know that I'm supporting a small business.

What are your favorite Etsy shops? What's the coolest thing you've bought on Etsy? Have you made any wedding-related purchases on Etsy?

I love all things Etsy. I love all the vintage womens clothes they have, but sometimes I do not love the prices ;-;

I will someday order my wedding dress off of Etsy. The coolest thing I bought was a keychain for BF that has 'i love you' stamped into metal in morse code

We got the flower girl dress from an Etsy shop - I think it was Princess and the Boutique or something similar. They're so cute - fluffy tutu dresses. The skirts are wider than the girls are tall!

I bought my wedding dress, wedding veil, a stamp with FI and my address on it to use as the return address on our invitations.

Other than that, I've bought a few purses on there, but nothing else really. I love a lot of the stuff, but sometimes the prices are just too much for me to justify.

I love etsy. I've bought so much stuff off there and some wedding stuff last year. Unfortunately, I can't get my etsy shop to take off which could hinder my wanting to be a stay at home mom.

I want a TARDIS charm for my Pandora bracelet: Clicky I think I like it in pewter color instead of blue. This guy has a lot of different Star Wars and comic book chars too.

Here's my etsy wedding dress (Ting bridal)

It still needs a little altering in the bust, but I love it. It's actually a strapless dress with a lace bolero on top.

And because I feel like being an AW today, here's my veil. I haven't received it yet (it's in the mail), but it looks awesome and the woman who made it was so sweet and helpful (store was Peter's bride)

Has anyone ever bought bodycare off etsy? I've been looking for a good body cream/lotion. Stuff in the stores always either feels weird or has too strong of a scent. I'm thinking etsy would be a good place for nice homemade body care.

Obsessed doesn't even begin to cover my feelings toward Etsy. So far I have bought bridesmaids gifts, Just Married banner, bakers twine, chevron silverware bags for the reception...I'm currently hunting down a hairpiece for me and gifts for the 2 flower girls. My sister ordered my shower invites off Etsy. I have also gotten a lot of great DIY wedding project ideas off there. Way better than Pinterest!

I tried on A LOT of wedding dresses before hand, and none of them "felt right". I liked them, but didn't love them. That's why, after a lot of research, I finally went the custom route.

But trying on dresses is important because you need to know what you like, don't like, and what flatters you most. After trying on dresses, I knew I wanted A-line and sweetheart, but I also wanted something with sleeves, which is really hard to find in the stores.

The basket idea is soooo cute. I love it. I'd probably put a few pops of color, like some pink peonies or something, but that's me. I just love flowers.

I closed mine down a little while ago, as it wasn't doing well, and I just don't have the time to devote to it now, and probably not in the future either! Instead, I want to go to grooming school and open up my own dog grooming shop. Can't do that on ETSY!

That's really nice, and I love the unique idea! Both FH and I are avid readers, and one of the centerpiece ideas that I thought of were stacks of books.
