Ceremony & Rental Fee Tax?

Hi Everyone, I just got my final balance estimate. I was wondering if it was normal to have tax & service charge(/gratuity) added onto the ceremony fee and rental fee? I wasn't expecting that. Thanks

    Welli can't speak on the ceremony fee because we got married in the church but for our reception we didn't have any tax or fees added.

    Yes, we had sales tax and a service charge added onto the reception...but it was all laid out in the contract that we had signed so we were expecting it.

    For anyone interested, service charge/gratuity was taken off the ceremony & rental fee.
