Return Address Stamp - Can it be used for RSVP envelope as well?

I am looking to order a return address stamp off of etsy - this or something similar to this -

This makes my life much easier for save the dates and invitations for our return addresses. This may be a silly question but can I use this stamp on our RSVP envelopes as well? My assumption is yes but want to make sure before I order it. If not, is there a certain format that the stamp should be in so I can use it as a return address and normal address on an envelope? Thanks!

I think you could use the stamp on the envelopes for the return address on the STD, invitation, and RSVP envelopes. However, I don't think you should use anything saying "Mrs." or your married name (if you are changing your name after marriage).

The only thing I would be concerned about with that stamp is that the city, state, and zip code aren't in a standard format for the post office. That probably wouldn't be a big deal for the return address, but it might be on the addresses for the reply cards. I wonder if you could check with the post office about it?

I ended up ordering two; one for the return address (without our names) that could be used again, and one that said "Smith-Jones Wedding" for the rsvp envelopes. I agree with PP that format doesn't follow the post office standard format and might have problems delivering them and that's one thing you want to make sure gets delivered. I would go with a more standard format stamp to put on your response envelopes. But nothing wrong with using a stamp if you can't run envelopes through printer.
