Wedding/ Event Insurance

Hey Military Brides:

Has anyone invested in wedding insurance for their wedding or do you know anyone that has done it? If you know someone did they think it was a good spend? Also, if you can suggest some reputable companies that would be great too.

    USAA offers special event insurance for its customers.  I don't know how much it costs yet, but we will most likely go with them since they have provided such great service to us in the past.

    We had our son's graduation open house at a building at the county fairgrounds and they required event insurance.  We belong to USAA and they actually work with another company on event insurance.  Since we were not having alcohol on the premises it was 100.00.  It would have been 200.00 if we had served alcohol.  They were nice to work with and we had no complaints (or claims!).  In the scope of a wedding budget it just makes sense to me to get event insurance.
