My wedding is about one week away and I have finished the seating chart and have typed out all the escort cards on my template in alphabetical order. I plan on printing the escort card and attaching to a plaid background and gluing on a pine cone (we are having a winter wedding). I did a tester of this and it came out super cute.
I am writing the couple's name together on the escort card (Mr. and Mrs. John Smith) and then if it is a family, writing "The Blackwell Family," so it cuts down on the total number of escort cards needed. My question is, in addition to having the escort cards, should I also do a framed "master seating chart" so people can also look at that as well? Or is that overkill?
I just don't want to worry about anyone having trouble finding their table.
One more question, the wedding is very formal, so I was told I should write the couple's names as "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," if married. Think this is okay?
