For those of you getting ready to send out save-the-dates, thank you cards, or invitations, I just wanted to share this little trick I figured out to make your lives so much easier!
Take a regular kitchen sponge and cut a little skinny strip of it. Then take a tiny bowl of water, dip the sponge strip in the water, ring it out, dab it on a dish towel if you need to, and then run it along the seal of the envelope. I did all my invites this way and it worked like a charm! You can seal 3 or 4 envelopes with 1 dip of the sponge, especially if you apply just a little pressure on it for the 3rd and 4th ones once the sponge starts drying out a little. Just be careful to make sure there's no excess water in it or it will run all over the envelope flap. No licking!
I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this, but I was pretty damn proud of myself for thinking of it.
