@MissKittyDanger Yes but I'm not going to let that keep Callie from enjoying playing outside. I mean we lay blankets down but with a crawling baby, they won't stay on that blanket. I think we will be ok and if a tick happens to show up, we will just pluck it off. Plus we won't be around any wooded area so I'm not too worried about that.

@swazzle – OMG, lady! Does eating too much dip make people clumsy? Haha! I’m so sorry you got hurt though! My ankle is still healing after months thanks to a stupid step off a curb.

@LizzyTish88 – I mean, I hate running and wouldn’t wish that kind of suffering on anyone who wasn’t willing to endure it in the first place, but I bet even adding regular short runs into your workout will help get you past your plateau. I started running and the weight just flew off me, even though I was eating a ton. Just a thought. But seriously, running sucks. I’m only mentioning it because you talked about using the treadmill the other day.

I had such a great night last night. I got home and did my workout, and then started reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I am LOVING IT! I totally see why you were so excited about it, @eilis1228. I might just stay up late and finish it tonight, but I have to make dinner too, so we'll see. It will definitely be done by the end of the weekend though, and my friend says she has the second one I can borrow next! The Hunger Games trilogy I ordered is supposed to show up in the mail soon, so I might be putting those off a tiny bit longer, haha.

My one-hit wonder station was awesome again this morning. Starting with Butterfly:

Good afternoon! I had a great evening yesterday, BF's softball game was cancelled so we met at our bar right after work for some food and drinks. During our conversation we decided that BF will be moving in in August, and he kind of let it slip that he realized he has a friend that is a jeweler who might hook him up with getting me something nice for my finger... I let it slip that I don't even know my ring finger size, lmao.

We mostly talked about other things and how we will make my house OUR home, but that portion stood out a bit. Even moreso because he mentioned it again this morning. I'm surprisingly not feeling even remotely BSC as a result, which makes me miss random BSC posters here. *sigh* I mean where ARE they? That shit was the best entertainment.

Tonight is Art Walk downtown so we are going to that. You basically walk from business to business and there are art galleries, free booze, and snacks. It's one of my favorite events in town. I'm going to do my best to not get as wine drunk as I did last time, but no promises. Luckily the weather is nice today too! First sunny day in a week! I forgot what the sun looked like.

@eilis1228 - I didn't even know the books existed until the first movie came out. Then I decided I'd rather see all the movies before I read the books because that way they have nothing to live up to. I finally saw the final movie, and want to read the books now! I've been so patient! I'm ready!

I'm sooo behind today! Work was crazy and then I had a lunch date with my MIL since she's been stuck inside the house most of the week because of the shitty weather. I hate having to go to work while they are here because I can't help provide entertainment. Plus I feel like I am "on" constantly. Just a few more days to go until normal life resumes!
