My fiance and I love to travel, and we thought it would be a cute idea to name our tables after places we've visited. We're having a large wedding so I broke down some of the cities into places (ex. for New York we'll have a central park table, broadway table, brooklyn bridge table, etc).
Anyway, I was going to name AND number the tables so there is no confusion. Ex. Table #5, Central Park. I also wanted to include a little snippet at each table explaining WHY it is important to us. Ex. Central Park is where he proposed, etc.
I'm trying to figure out how to do this in a way that won't completely break the bank. I thought about getting 2 picture frames (one would have an explanation and one would have a picture of the place). I also thought about making 'postcards' as the escort card.
What do you think? Is this idea too involved?
