She also gave me the idea to buy clip on earrings - since one of my holes is messed up. Woot. :o)

Favors FI made...candles to look like Mario mushrooms. We pseudo copied the idea from google..someone did something similar with jam. Cheap project. The candles were 25 cents each..and the cloth was 2 for each half yard.

1) Yesterday, my hair/make-up trial was canceled for the 2nd time due to emergent reasons on the side of the artist. Fine - no big deal. He blew up - saying I need to ask for my money back,  and she's unprofessional, blah blah blah. How I'm stupid for having paid her the whole amount upfront.

 Woooah. Had my trial today - went fine - she's okay.

2) We have a major parking issue at our ceremony venue. Street parking ONLY with a big street fair going on that day. We can rent a parking lot with 20 spaces for 100 bucks - two blocks away. I say go for it.  But I ask FI "hey, do you think we should do this?" FI is like "omgz, we should have picked a place with a parking lot, blah blah blah blah" Focus on now, what we can fix...ugggh. No point in bitchin' about what we "should have" done with 13 days away!

Sunday: Clean and relax
Monday: Son starts bible camp, Daughter has a doctors appt.
Tuesday: Son goes to bible camp,Final payment to DJ, Bartender, and caterer. Pay for BM hair and make up. 
Wednesday: Son goes to bible camp, any last minute shopping for the wedding
Thursday: mani-pedi appt.,son goes to bible camp, BM and bf drive in from LA to stay with us, take all wedding stuff to my aunts, flowers are delieverd, pick up any wedding items left at FI moms house, Rehearsal, rehearsal dinner
Friday: Son's last day of bible camp, Get everything windexed, steamed, assembled
Saturday: pick up rented intems, pick up wedding cake, pick up kegs,Wedding!!

Sunday: BM and bf leave home for LA, drive GM to airport, Go back to aunts for any thing that needs to be picked up after the wedding, drop off any rented items, drive to our honeymoon location
Monday: Honeymoon
Tuesday: Honeymoon
Wednesday: Come home from honeymoon, pick up daughter from grandmas, pick up son from other grandma, son has boy scout meeting in the evening,
Thursday: FI returns to work and we are back on a normal schedule. 

I wont be relaxing until our honeymoon and then Saturday July 21st. Also in all that craziness my sister is due to have her baby pretty much at any point. She is going to her 38 week appt on thursday and they might induce her then.

I've been talking to this friend and as of last week she said she is "probably" coming, but hasn't sent the RSVP, it's still in her purse. Okay. I text her today asking her if she has sent it in yet and she says she did last week. Ok and this is how it went:

Me: Okay, apparently we didn't get it, are you coming?

Her: Yes

Me: Okay great, what meal did you want to have? Are you bringing a guest?

Her: Yes to guest, just pick whatever meal for me.

Me: Name of guest? What does the guest want to eat?

Her: My friend. Just pick whatever.

Me: We need to know the names and the meal options since we are making escort cards

Her: I'm going to church, I'll text ya later

Huh? She kinda sounded snotty to me, and it kind of feels like she doesn't want to give me her guest's name. I'm just about to type in "______'s Guest" for the escort card. Last month was deep purple and sometimes I do black. I only do the tips as the gap with growth on a solid colour drives me bonkers. I try to go every 3 to 4 weeks for a fill. Limits my spending.

So now I'm thinking, what do I do for the wedding? My look is pretty antique and I loath white tips with a passion. What are you doing? PIP inspirations please so I can be influenced. :) Or recommend a nail site. Thanks!

Also, funny story: Her other gift was our kitchenaid mixer and some attachments for it. There were 3 boxes so we open the 1st and it's the attachments, the 2nd and it's the mixer in the wrong color so I thought I would exchange for the right color, then the 3rd box is the mixer in the right color! How do you make a mistake like that?!?!
