Just curious what you all chose for wedding footwear--and where you found it!

I'm going the non-traditional route since I wanted shoes I could wear again.  I'm also wearing a shorter dress and really wanted interesting shoes.  Add in the fact that I have ridiculously wide feet, hate very high heels, and my shoe budget was around $50 and BAM we have a winner.

I don't have a picture of them, but I'm wearing my great-grandfather's old cowboy boots for our country wedding.

Don't know how to put the picture in post but those are mine. I have super wide feet so the shoes are a little bigger than my true size but they'll work. I'm just hoping I don't have trouble with the heels. Only got heels cause $50 shoes are cheaper than $150 alterations.

@fre3doms You can get can get little pads to stick on the back of the inside of the back of the shoe which can help make up for small differences in length.  They've definitely helped me out bunch since I'm in the same wide foot boat.

FI is only a couple inches taller than me - so I needed a really low heel.  And now I have something blue!  

Doesn't hurt that they're originally around $60-70 and I bought them for $17 with free shipping.

I wore ruby slippers! Dorky, I know... but I always wanted a pair and figured my wedding day was the only time I could wear them without looking like a crazy person. (Except for Halloween, of course!)

I'm wearing sapphire blue boots to my wedding. Yup, boots. I'm getting married in December and don't want my feet to get cold. Plus I'm more likely to wear boots again than I am to wear heels. (I've actually already worn them a few times, and love them!)

I added broaches to my reception shoes with a hot glue gun.

I plan on using a hot glue gun and/or sewing them with clear thread.

I don't think it's technically a shoe but I was thinking of wearing something like this because we're getting married on a beach. Plus it lightens the luggage load and I think I can make it myself, to any style I want.

These Capezio ballroom dance shoes are my way to incorporate my passion for the stage and my career into the wedding without anyone really knowing. I have worn more pairs of Capezio shoes in my lifetime than any other, they are very stable and comfortable, and only 2.5" heel (since my FI is only about 3.5" taller than me). I got a great deal on ebay for them (brand new in box) and I know I'll be able to wear them on stage again after the wedding. I also wanted a shoe that I could wear for hours and not have to take off to dance!

They are Stuart Weitzman blue snakeskin, open toe pumps.  I found them at Off Saks 5th Ave Outlet store for a nice discount!  They are comfortable, match my wedding color, and I can definitely wear them again (they looks awesome with blue jeans).

They look exactly like a pair of Jimmy Choo's I wanted, but these one's didn't cost me $800.
