What's the different between white and diamond white from Alfred Angelo's?

Not sure what the Diamond white color is when some of the dress styles come in white and ivory or white and diamond white. I tried on one Diamond white dress and it just looked like a shinier white color, but I was wondering if maybe this varied based on different fabrics since I know ivory seems to look a light lighter / darker depending on the fabric. Will my groom's shirt need to be ivory if I choose the diamond white? I don't want them to not match in pics.

Diamond white is supposed to be a softer white than regular white but not ivory. But I do think it depends on the fabric. In some fabrics, I couldn't tell the difference.
