1). This reminds me of a sermon the pastor at DHs church gave. About a guy that drowns in a flood, refusing all help, saying "God will provide"... Guy meets God in heaven and asks why He didn't save him. God replies, "I sent a boat with paddles, a helicopter, a life preserver, a rescue crew ready to rescue you, what else did you want??"

2,3) douchenozzle aside, that interview was crass and completely uncalled for.

4) the indylink isn't working, but I'm ready to throw TN in the nuclear apocalypse shortlist. The KS bill allowing discrimination against teh gayz...yep, TN's got one of those too. And a couple educational bills mandating what gets taught in the classroom and GAH!!! And homegirl/AW Marsha Blackburn debates Bill Nye on climate change. Despite my feeling on the Bill Nye debating ALL OF THE SCIENCE with individuals who have no interest in anything beyond their ideology...bleh

Thanks for sharing the Miller article. I was watching the Olympics last night and FI and I were discussing that case- I just couldn't remember all the details. Ass or not, that reporter was not very kind to him. I felt awful watching him cry- to hound him about his deceased brother was uncalled for.
