Kohl's registry

My lovely Kohl's registry is driving me nuts.. Does anyone know how to categorize the items? It shows sections for you, but all mine go to miscellaneous no matter how I put it on the list. Any ideas?

    No idea :( I'm still frustrated because I can't put comments on my Bed Bath and Beyond registry. My mom and maid of honor looked over our registries for us and both asked if we had registered for three different trash cans by mistake (no, we didn't; one's for the bathroom, one's for the kitchen trash, and one's for recycling).

    True! Comments would be awesome to put in so people knew which room you were thinking. I really like BBB's but there's only a BBB by FI's family and not mine so we branched out to Kohl's and Macy's but this sorting thing is driving me crazy. I've googled, searched their site, and tried different things... next up will be calling them Monday to see if they can tell me how. oi! Why don't they make things easier..

  • I can't offer any advice, but I can commiserate.  I was really disappointed in the functionality of the Kohl's registry.  It seemed really half assed.

    Mine is doing the same thing.  The customer service girl in the store said that we could organize it into categories online.  YEAH, RIGHT.  All of our items show up in "miscellaneous," no matter if we registered in the store or online.  ANNOYING.
  • Mine is the same... glad it is a system glitch and not something strange I did haha.  The main reason it annoys me is because that is the automatic display visitors will see and not a list or icon view, so it doesn't look like we registered for anything.  Not good business for ya Kohls!  Truthfully, it is the lightest of our three registries so not a big deal but I might be more comfortable with it if this wasn't an issue.

    @sara_beth21 We started our registry online, then went in store and then back to online.. but seriously. It annoys me because we registered for our plates there, yet they're in the middle of the page... grrrr I'm glad I'm not alone in this headache though

    I am having the same problem. I called the 1-800 help line and they pretty much dismissed the problem and said it was something that we had to take care of in store. So I contacted the store and a VERY nice woman called two different help lines for employees, and nobody could figure out the problem.

    It's frustrating for me because my fiancee's family lives in a remote area and is huge, so we HAVE to register at Kohl's for a good number of things or they'll be inconvenienced. (Kohl's is pretty much the only store within a reasonable distance from them. Unless I want to register at Wal-Mart. Which I don't.) But I can't break down my registry to make sure I have all the pots and pans, etc. I have to print it and scan the pages to see what I've registered for and what might be missing - which is a hassle because one pan may be on page 1, another on page 7, etc.

    This issue is maddening. I tried starting a new registry to see if that fixed the problem, but it didn't.

    Has anyone found a solution to this? Has it cleared up for anyone?
  • So I called them and got told they're working on the registry and they aren't sure when they'll be done updating it... soooo I got told basically to deal with it. There's nothing they can do.

  • Also, something else to point out about Kohls.... it doesn't let the person change the shipping address when buying online. My brother was trying to buy from mine and we found this out. It seems to be a 3+ year problem. I had to change my shipping address to his address  to get it to work. It does however work with using mobile Kohl's.. how odd!
