B/c it's unseemly for me to do it to people who know me right now.
I've already met all but one of the goals I laid out for my group when I took over as president in January. We've added five new dues paying members, had a special event every month (in addition to our regularly scheduled activities) and added 3 new mini groups (basically since it's a social organization, we have people who run a film club, a pub night, an art group, and we pay dues to the overarching organization to do big group wide events or buy materials for the small events). I originally want 5 new mini groups, but there's still time for that.
I've gotten 3 thank you letters from various members, for the new direction the board is taking and our work. One that was really special was a member that said we've changed it from a "bitching" session to a group that they could be actively engaged in. That makes me really really happy b/c that's specifically what I wanted to do for the group.
