How to add a guest's "plus one" to the online RSVP

I would like to have all of my guests RSVP online, however we have a number of "and guest" invites. 1.) how should I import these into the guest list manager? 2.) is there a way for my invitee to add their guests name?

Are you using a specific site to do this? Sounds cheaper than sending printed RSVP cards. Those cards were just as expensive as my invitation and I am looking for a way to confirm guests without them.

After selecting "add a guest" under "my guest manage,r" type in "John Smith" (for example) for the guest that you are personally inviting. Under spouse/guest, just type in "Guest" for their plus one. When they are RSVPing, they will type in John Smith, and "John Smith" and "Guest" will show up to allow them to say "yes" or "no" to each of them. Because John Smith and his guest are attached as a "family" unit, this also makes arranging the table easier when you add the whole unit so John and his guest stay attached.
