Pearl's Place Question

I've noticed Pearl's Place in Louisiana mentioned on here a few times.  Have you or anyone you know ordered from them?  I guess I'm just curious as to why they are so much cheaper.  I'm considering ordering my BM dresses through them if it's legit and worth it.   Cheers.

My daughter ordered her dress from their site in 2010.  Local price was $1300 plus tax.  Their price was $735.  Same dress.
They offering this ordering service for brides.  You do not get anything except the authentic dress.  No services.  You place your order and pay with a credit card upfront.  They order the dress from the manufacturer, and mail it to you when it arrives.  Like most bridal shops, all sales are final. No size exchange.  No changing your mind. They do not accept orders on line.  You must do your own shopping, and place your order by telephone.  They will ask you a lot of questions, and discourage you from buying any dress which you have not actually tried on in person!  They want style number and measurements.
They cannot discount Maggie Sottero dresses because Maggie will pull her line if they discount it.  This is technically illegal in our free enterprise system, but Maggie doesn't care.
David's Bridal manufactures all their own dresses for their own stores, so they cannot be bought anywhere else.
After my daughter's wedding, she helped two of her friends buy their dresses through Pearl's Place, and they were equally pleased.
Do not try and take your discount dress to your local bridal shop for alterations!  This is horribly rude and presumptuous!  Find an independent seamstress.
