Thank goodness. Toady we are baking brownies made with black beans and checking out a new grocery store and going to a party tonight. Tomorrow is soccer. Mil doesn't want to listen to my directions so good luck lady. We might go to lunch with them, but I kinda hope not. I'd rather go to the parish festival tomorrow night. Who knows about Sunday. I want my new cleaning products NOW.

I had to take the day off with DefConn.  I think he just has a bad cold/mild viral thing.  He was running a low grade fever when he woke up and crying that he was 'sick'.     After some ibuprofen and breakfast, he's perked up and we're watching Frozen. 

I have to work this weekend.  We're having dinner with good friends tomorrow night (I cannot wait!).  DH leaves for PA Sunday night and comes back Thursday (blah).  At least next weekend is a 5 day weekend.

Today DD2 and I are going to Target.  DH has refused to step foot in there until the remodel crap is done, which is in October.  It's better much better now, but a few weeks ago even I refused to go there.  Stuff everywhere, floors dirty and sticky from moving shelves and aisles.  It was actually worse than Walmart for a while.

No big plans for the weekend.  I'm going to see if DH and I can get away for a while tomorrow night so we can have a date night.

I ordered some clothes last week and they're supposed to be here today.  Nothing too exciting.  Just some basic things to get ready for fall.

I think we're actually in for the weekend, which is nice.  We'll have to do some yardwork, canning, etc.  I've got a lot of reading too and dog snuggling.  Planning a camping trip next weekend.

Today: drop off car to get fixed at a mechanic nearby the house (hope they aren't screwballs) and baseball tonight.

Tomorrow: smoked meat and the Doctor

Tonight:  Lay low---relax.  H works until 24:00.  I won't see him.

Tomorrow---long run #2 with Dad.  Maybe spend a bit of time with H.  He works 16:00 Sat-04:00Sun.  So I won't see him after that.  I'll probably lay low again---maybe drink by myself---I'm cool like that.    Watch some weird TV.

Sunday---I'd love to run again with a group SLLOWWW.  But we'll see.  I'm really loving the resurgence I'm having in running---mostly because I didn't run enough this summer to hit the "I hate running" stage.

the littleone is still a bit punk and I"m going downhill fast.
She wanted to do a painting project and I steered us to clay instead.  There is a sculpy wonder woman crown in theoven as I type (see:  https://feelincrafty.wordpress.com/tag/wonder-woman-crown/  Only ours doesn't look that good)

Today is the weekend day we have all together (the Mr. works Sat and Sun), he is at a doc appt now and when he gets back, if everyone is going to nap and post nap go to TRU to look at bikes for birthday.
I think we're hanging at home--I promised her a trip to party city to pick out pencils for her class birthday thing, I have an outdoor science project prepped (which is why there is glitter in my freezer; the Mr. nearly had an aneurism), but that's as close to going out as I think we're planning

Two things:

1. My grandparents have been married 59 years this week.  It makes my heart so happy.  We just got to see them a few times over the last month because they were in town.  I can't believe they can still make the drive up here to visit for the month.  

2. DefConn says "Mad-ass-car" instead of "Madagascar".  I had him repeat it several times so I could giggle.

I think all kids have one of those hilarious things they say wrong, middle GD used to want both a fork and spoon with her meals and she would say it "want a fuckinspoon", all as one word.  We made her say it all the time, and we have it on video, lol.

And GS currently loves Thomas, he carries Pussy with him everywhere too (Percy).

Oh, I still get regaled with the times my older bro would require me to say "truck" because it came out "fuck".  So everything was a car from that moment on.

Last night I met new people and had a great time. Didn't even get made into a skin suit.

Saturday is chore day. Sunday my mom is watching the kids while me and DH go to fancy brunch. I plan to eat and get my drank on. Unlimited mimosas!

God I just want to go hommmmeeeeeee. I felt awesome yesterday but want to die today. Bed sounds like the greatest thing that's ever happened. Husband is going to see Duo de Twang tonight with a friend, so I can pretty much just go home and curl up with dogs and then crash forever.

We're planning to go to the Atlanta aquarium tomorrow. We've gone to Atlanta a few times lately and realized it's nbd to get there and back in one day, so we're planning to go down there, spend the day at the aquarium, grab some Persian for dinner (because my pregnant ass wants some fesenjaan and there's NO place in Nashville to get it) then come home. The dogs will think we're dead, but that's okay.

Sunday we're doing NOTHING, as jeebus intended.

bummed.  I got all excited because my dad and step-mom asked DD to spend the night tomorrow night - so yay! free unexpected babysitter!  But boo!  DH already has plans that he doesn't want to ditch.  I thought about going on a little roadtrip to visit a friend up there, but I have a cold and know that I wouldn't be up for too much anyway.  Boo.  I'll likely just watch netflix and drink some wine, which I supposed is fine.
