  • That's amazing. I hate you because I don't have any, it was pouring.

  • The sun is still up today, so I have this:
  • We have the obligatory "dramatic" pic, us being us, and then one from the one thing I think everyone should do! We had a table set up (ours was on the dock of the property) and had beer and a plate of food and took 15 minutes between photos/ceremony and the reception to just be with ourselves.
    Anniversary
  • This is ours! Also our fave pic of the wedding. There were also fireworks!
  • Just look below.  That's mine.  ;)  Don't know what the other thread is though.  Still scrolling through the day.  Is it on CC??

  • Oh, was this supposed to be a sunset picture from my wedding? I don't think that we took any!

I forget what board it was on, but some bride was worried about missing part of her cocktail hour for sunset photos and was deciding whether to start the cocktail hour at 7 or 8:00...except her ceremony was in the early afternoon.

  • We didn't take any... I think the sun night have been setting while we ate dinner, maybe? Didn't even cross our minds.

@winstonsgirl Yea it was on E but got deleted when she closed the account. Ceremony at 2pm and she was trying to decide to start the reception at 7 or 8 pm because she wanted sunset pictures at EXACTLY 7:38pm.

Damn work ruining my reading of drama threads.  We actually did get sunset photos at our reception (the photo below is from our day 2/TTD shoot).  We just excused ourselves from our table, took a few photos and went back to eating.  Not too hard there.

  • I'm a sucker for sunset photos, any sunset photos. Those are all beautiful!

The sun was setting during our cocktail hour so it worked out nicely.

Also, where in Chicago do you live?  I used to live in Lakeview and then I lived in Lincoln Park.  I miss Chicago!  I'll actually be there for Christmas!

  • FSS has been quite the little photographer and will randomly demand FI kiss me when he sees a good place for a picture.

  • Found a better one FSS took

  • We didn't get sunset shots. The pictures of H and I are two of the very last ones our photographer took before she left. Close to 430 pm. Sunset would have been nice but it just didn't work for us. I don't really care because our pictures are outstanding otherwise.

The solo picture of me was also taken in the late afternoon. Not a sunset picture. I'm just in love with it (BIL took it) since we went on a hike with a wedding dress. I feel awesome looking at that picture so I'm just sharing to be an AW :)

Lake View East for about 9 years now. Love it!

The outdoor nature shots are fabulous. Everyone has such beautiful photos! AW away!
