Wedding colors

My wedding is in late August next year and I'm trying to decide on a wedding palette. My bridesmaids are wearing a cornflower blue color and my reception venue is white, cream, and brown. I'm thinking I want gold as one accent color; does that work? What other color would also work that is not blue (light green, light pink?)? Thanks!!!!

Late August NEXT year as in over a year and a half from now? I'd recommend not making those kinds of decisions this early. Your taste could change.

If it's August THIS year, any color works. Or you could just have the blue as your main color and complement it with lots of other colors in your flowers. You don't NEED a certain number of colors.

This doesn't really belong on the Etiquette board either way.
