Wedding Colors: Coral & Purple?

Hello Everyone,

I've had a hard time trying to narrow down my wedding colors. I like many colors and I've changed my color scheme several times. I've finally decided on purple and coral. However, I've been having a hard time finding pictures w/ these two color combinations, which leads me to wonder if they will even look good together. I put together something on my own that I'd like you to review and comment on in terms of whether or not these two colors will work together.

I believe I'm going to go w/ the medium shade of purple in this link, which is the 2nd picture to the left on the bottom. Thanks for your help!

I'm not a fan of these colors together really, but what does that matter? If you like them, you don't need a bunch of internet strangers to confirm your choice. I don't think this is a common color combo, but being unique is a good thing!

Those are a great color combination. I use them a lot when doing flower arrangements, from lighter shades, to deep vivid shades.

If you are unsure, find a color wheel with varying hues, and that comes with explanations of how to do various color combinations, such as complimentary, triads, monochromatic and amalgous color combos, etc.... Depending on your shades, or how many colors you use, a touch of green or yellow would make a nice accent color

Thanks. I decided to go ahead and use the colors b/c I love them together and afterall, it's my day! Considering the coral I'm using is closer to orange, there's no reason the colors couldn't look good together based on all the beautiful photos I've seen w/ orange and purple. My wedding is a little under a year away, but I am already excited about my floral arrangements, candy buffet, reception tables, etc. I already have a good idea of how I want all of those to look, so I cannot wait to actually piece everything together! Thanks again!
