macy's registry?

My Fi and I wanted to go to register at Macy's today and just wanted to know if we needed an appointment? I tried calling a few times and no one answers for their department. TIA!

    an appointment is recommended...i didn't have one originally but i got in because it was slow and on a weekday.

    We just went into the store, they were not busy so were able to help us right away. If you are near the store today then I don't think it would hurt to stop by. Good luck!
