T.G.I.F!

We made it!

I don'tk know about you but for me this has been one excruiating week.

Any fun plans for the weekend?

For us the holiday season has officially kicked off and we're finding our calander really packed.

Tonight we're going to my mothers for what I like to call Christmas slave labor. Our family's claim to fame is this christmas treat we call Peanut Butter Balls. We'll spend about six hours rolling the mixture into marble sized balls and then probably 3 hours tomorrow morning dipping them in chocolate. After all these years I still think it's worth it though. lol

Then Saturday evening I'm braving the mall with my best friend to get some shopping done and we'll part take in some much needed drinking.

Currently the plan for Sunday is finishing up the Christmas presents I've been making and screaming at the TV during the Giants/Cowboys game.

Yay for Friday!  Today is great because I have an appointment in the middle of the day so it will fly by fast and then we'll be at the weekend!!!

Tonight we're getting together with a friend and her boyfriend.  I love her to death but sometimes she needs me to make her life decisions for her and this is one of those occasions so fun + some life planning.

Tomorrow and Sunday we are going to Stockbridge, Massachusetts where Norman Rockwell used to live.  They do lots of Christmasy stuff and my family goes every year and has dinner and people watches.  It is always pretty fun.

The Giants better win on Sunday.  They are on my last nerve.

I'm not having anyone over to watch the game with us on Sunday and am thinking about sending BF to the bar to watch it b/c I don't want to embarrass myself with whatever emotion be it rage, depression or joy that comes flying out of me in mass quantities.

I am heading out in a few minutes for our office Christmas party, which involves the boss's yacht and a lot of alcohol. :)

Also, it might snow here tonight. This cracks me up because everyone is freaking out "OMG WHAT IF IT SNOWS???"

If it snows, you brush the snow off your car and you go about your day. In Louisiana, the snow melts before noon anyway. But noooooo, everyone here drives 20 mph even at 3pm when there's not a flake left on the road. Schools close for the day, stores open late, basically everything shuts down for less than an inch.

It blows my mind (being from West Virginia, where everything is normal even if there's a foot of snow).

Yay for the weekend!!! We are looking forward to our only weekend of not having errands/projects.

Today, I need to not be lazy.  However, the fog has rolled in, so it feels like a perfect lazy day.  I need to organize the crap in our garage.  While we were out of town, my MIL got rid of all the empty moving boxes I had thrown in there.  Now, I have no excuse to not organize all of the other stuff.

Tonight, we are going out for sushi.  I love, love, love sushi.  Plus it always involves sake.

Tomorrow, we are going to the Farmers' Market.  Then, it is all about college football.  I want to see Florida go down!  Plus I wouldn't mind my Trojans putting the hurt on Uof A.

Sunday, we need to focus on Christmas shopping and putting up our decorations.  We have started neither of these tasks.  Hopefully, we still have time to go for a hike.

Let's see...tonight, probably trying to straighten up the house a bit when I get home from work (it's a wreck), and then either going out with friends or having friends over (at which point I will enjoy their company while working on DIY for the wedding - I bought stuff last night to make my bridesmaids' jewelry, my card box, and my aisle runner - SO excited).  I'll probably opt for the jewelry, since that takes up the least amount of room.

Tomorrow during the day probably relax, but tomorrow night is FI's co-worker's 40th birthday party, so we'll be going to that.

Sunday I'll probably come into the office (the only place where I can stretch out all my stuff and do work because of our puppy wanting to get into stuff at the house) and work on our invitations and/or the aisle runner while FI plays his Sunday games with his friends.  Oh, and if my grade stinks in Marketing (which I'll find out on Sunday morning), I may be taking my final exam on Sunday afternoon as well.  Bleh.  Almost forgot about that...think I'm trying to push it out of my head?  :-)

I'm more excited about next weekend though.  DIY is fun, but next weekend I have meetings with the florist and a possible photographer, and then FI is coming with me to the meeting with the caterer to talk about food and such for the reception.  YAY!  I'm so looking forward to having most of this crap done over Christmas break so I don't have to worry about it when school starts back up in Jan.

Jeana--Welcome to my daily commute now that it is December in MN. I dread this time of year due to the lack of driving capabilities that minnesotans have. You would think that after all these years they'd figure it out.

Speaking of MN---- gotta love those Vikes!! 10-1!!

My weekend. Nothing planned. There is a bridal shop near my house that has everything 30-90% off tomorrow. I am hoping to find some shoes/accessories.

I also need to get a jump on my christmas shopping.

Tonight I`m just relaxing after the gym. Hopefully get the apartment straightened up.

Saturday, get laundry done and then my second Christmas party of the season.

Sunday, my weekly brunch get together and then a Christmas tree decorating party in the afternoon.

Aside from that hopefully do some Christmas baking and then get ready for BF who gets back from SoCal on Tuesday (so excited, he`s been gone almost 2 weeks).
