Not Engaged Yet

Here's an idea...

It was briefly mentioned in another (now famous) thread but I think we need to seriously discuss this...

Not Engaged Yet

You've planned your flowers, found a gown...but no ring (yet)? Welcome to NEY.

This ^ is most likely the source of ALL the problems around here... The tagline invites people who have 'planned your flowers, found a gown...but no ring (yet)'... So, how can we be upset with the ladies who post with the belief that they are welcome if they have planned every last detail but their BF's 'just haven't popped the question'?

Most of us agree (some needing a little more convincing or a harder kick-in-the-pants than others) that pre-planning takes the fun and excitement out of the 'pre-engagement' and 'engaged' phases... (Thank you all for bringing that to my attention... wish I had lurked in 2001 when I planned a wedding in my mind that never happened... LOL)

So, what would be an inviting tagline that would keep the over-zealous pre-planners at bay??

EDIT: Since TK wont care, let's just dream a little... LOL

I honestly don't know if the tagline can be changed. Believe me, it's been suggested before many times, to no avail.

Personally, if I had my way, it would be something like "Not Yet Engaged. Enjoying your current relationship, but looking forward to (and dreaming a little of) what the future holds. Meet other women who are (or have been) in your shoes."

I don't think TK would change it. TK = a business. To them it probably seems pretty minor to have a tagline like that.

We should just become the daydream board. That's all we do here. Daydream. About everything.

<div>I do believe something was said about this the other day, that we should become the farting rainbows brigade or something? Seems to be a common thought lately with all the crazy.</div><div>
</div><div>OP, the tagline is what it is. We all choose to ignore it. If the BSC noobs would read the stickies, they'd see it wasn't the case. I'm guessing at one time this board was exactly that, but message boards change and evolve over time, and this one is no exception. </div>
