Today is my cousin's wedding. The cousin marrying my ex-bff. It promises to be an interesting one since it's an outdoor ceremony and a reception venue with no a/c and it's been in the 90s the last 4 days. The bathrooms are in a building next to the reception venue (it's in a state park) and there is a 60% chance of thunderstorms. Uhg.

My mantra: "as long as he (my cousin) is happy, as long as he is happy."

Well, I hope for your sake it's rain-free and drama-free. And like you said, there's nothing you can do except hope for the best for your cousin. It's always crappy going to a wedding when you don't fully support the relationship.

Thanks ladies. So far it's cooler today than it's been and the radar is clear. I hope it stays this way. And I hope there isn't any drama...the forecast for that isn't very good.

Thanks! I've been lurking and posting occasionally. This is the first week of summer school and it's been crazy. We got a new principal and a new vice principal so everything has been upended. Not really a bad thing but change is always difficult!
