Since it's 40 degrees and rainy here, I'm ready for swimsuit season.  And a new bikini.  FI found one that he loved (from 2009), and I looked around for similar ones, but found this one instead:

Ugh...swimsuits. I don't even want to think about it! I was hoping I could look cute in a swim suit this summer but based on how this diet is going lately I don't think that's gonna happen

The bad diet thing is exactly why I'm window shopping.  If I find one that I can afford and am in love with, I like to think I'll be more motivated.

Ooh, that's super cute, peekaboo! I would totally wear that. Maybe without the fake flowers--I'd just take those off.

I love the print on that orange bikini. I'm a big fan of the color orange. 

I'm strictly a one piece girl, though I've gotten some trendy use out of cutouts the last few years. 

I love some of the quirkier suits on Anthropologie, but there is no way I would ever spend that much!

This is actually quite good motivation.

I love the idea of the monokini, but I can't pull it off with my hips.  I look ridiculous in them.  But I really like the Laughing Gull suit on Anthropologie.  It looks sweet.

And Danie, Shabby Apple?  Do they have stores?  I found the website (I'm running to class in a second), and cannot believe how cute some of their stuff is.

One line I wish would design swimwear - White House Black Market.  I feel like it would be amazing.

My favorite place to bathing suit shop is a store called Deb. They specialize in plus-sized clothes for juniors. Since I'm the height of a junior but I'm also plus sized, it's the perfect store for me. Anyway, their bathing suits are super cute and the prices are reasonable and I'm totally crushing on this one right now:

I can't wait to see the rest of their swim collection. They release a few designs around March/April, and really get into the swing of things around June. Last year they only had halter-top suits, now I'm glad to see they're featuring more with straps. It's easier for the big boobied gals like me.

I know! I have a serious addiction to Anthro, but can only buy one thing from there every 4 months! And even that has to be on sale! 

Peakaboo, As far as I know Shabby Apple doesn't have stores. And it's always difficult to really get a picture of something from online only. but from what I've heard they have pretty good quality stuff. I haven't bought anything from them, yet, but they seem to be a good option.

I like the first one posted, but that is CRAZY expensive.

I also really like the metallic one that sparklee posted; it reminds me of Star Sapphire.

Totally digging all the Anthro ones, but.. yeah.. got a wedding to pay for.

I was just going to post how I was drooling over Anthro's suits last night. LOVE them. I really want this coverup though... sooo tempting.
I like it both as a dress and a skirt.






I bought this swimsuit last year, and normally I don't like one pieces but I adoret his one. I gets tons of compliments when I wear it and I feel so comfortable in it.

Mine mostly come from Target. I have way too many, but our complex has a pool, so we swim a bit in summer. I mostly own mix and match suits with bikini or tankini tops. One piece suits are often too short (not that I'm tall, but I apparently have a long torso).

I like that polka dot top Rae posted. I want another top with straight spaghetti straps. Almost everything I own is halter, but I like to switch up the strap patterns to even out the tan lines.
