Idea #1 - Orange, Yellow and Ivory.  How do you feel about pumpkins?  I think it's perfect for the Fall without being so predictable at the same time.  I'm not a fan of brown so please don't like any brown.

Ooo - I saw a gift bag the other day that looked cool. It was blue (almost baby blue), white, and black. The black kept it from looking like a nursery.

Idea #3 - Teal, Plum and Orange.  This struck me as very "San Antonio" but then again I've never been there and have only read about it on the Southwest Airlines in-flight magazine.

I had an inspiration board floating around somewhere. It had pumpkins on it and oranges.


So far I have:

Cranberry BM dresses
Wheat centerpieces
Flowers: Ivory roses and orange tulips, with herbs in the BM bouquets.

I thought it was rather dark, too, but I bet you could go more with a cranberry/cherry than a cranberry/black shade.  It would still look fantastic - that golden wheat color is the neutral that will pull together your cranberry and orange!

I didn't hide my bio per se, but TK won't let me update my siggy. I REALLY want etched pumpkins, but it's a lot of work.

Oh, gosh, I suppose you could tell people whatever you want.  You could tell them your colors are aqua and magenta.  Really, why people who don't need this information (vendors, cake decorator, etc.) need to know this is beyond me!

But yes, based on the dresses and other things you noted, those colors do sound to summarize your scheme.  Grab some swatches from a Home Depot or a paint store near you of colors you have selected and then staple them together - hand that to all vendors that need that information.  Ta-da! You have an easy portable way of showing your colors to people who need to know.
