 I don't know where to start or what to do. My fiance and I have a wedding planner which we only met with once, I understand that she had another wedding to plan for but I feel lost in my own wedding. The farthest we have gotten on our own is putting my ring on lawayay, and paid for our premarital counseling. We are on a tight budget getting married in June 2011 nearly seems impossible. I wish we could move the date back but we already done that several times. With me going back to school next spring & fall, summer was the only possible option. Wish I had an easy button.

If you're paying for this coordinator, I'd be calling her and asking when you are going to start planning.  Start lookin at venues with your fiance.

Communication with your coordinator is key. I understand how overwhelmed you must feel--most of us have been there at one point or another--but, insead of asking us for help, you should really be in touch with your coordinator. She is not a mind reader. If you feel that she is not doing all that she should, tell her. You might be surprised how easy things are once you get on the same page!

I feel the same way. Between all my bills, and working so many hours... I feel lost. Also, the person I have helping me plan has a lot going on in their life.

I do feel that your wedding planner should make time for you. It's their job, right? If you need to push back the date, go ahead. If you think you can pull it off, keep on planning like you are. I'm just going to keep pushing ahead.
