The Knot's ruined EVERYTHING

Stupid Stupid changes keep crashing my computer! Even opening links in a new window don't get rid of pointless Knot TV.

I hate the new layout, it's awful and so un-userfriendly.  Not to mention horrendous to look at with all the moving objects, that actually make me feel a little bit sick.

Any chance that the knot will put the changes down to a moment of madness and go back to a user friendly layout?

Tell me I'm not alone....

At this point all the whining has come to an end.  Try downloading Mozilla and accessing the knot there.  It gets better and everyone (or most people) are fine with the changes now.

It gets easier.

I hate it too and stating my opinion is not whining.

I've gotten used to it.  It's still a little slow, but once I get Knot TV minimized and paused, it stays that way.  At least I'm not getting Java errors when I try to open certain boards anymore.

It's puts you to Etiquette but you can just use the side navigation to jump around and the tv should stay gone.  Also, using Firefox instead of IE is MUCH better and faster.

I still hate it.

I even HAVE Firefox and I hate it. For some reason, Internet Explorer will run slow as hell, but still run. Firefox the past few days just craps itself whenever I try to open a discussion board. I can check out pretty much anything else on the Knot, I have no problems w/the Nest or Bump (I don't usually use them, but I wanted to test this), but if I open a Knot board with Firefox I get major error screens.

And I'm sorry, Knot TV just needs to go away in general (Does anybody even watch it?). We shouldn't need super-secret special links to use the forum without this annoyance. Knot TV should just be on, like, the home page or there should be a tab for JUST Knot TV and that's it. It should be nowhere near the message boards.

Cat, the only one I see making nasty comments is you.  Babycakes is allowed to disagree with you without being called the b word.  I suggest you watch your language because that won't be tolerated on this board.

Switching to firefox and opening the TV free version has worked for me.  If it doesn't work for you, try downloading the Ad blocker app and blocking any images that take a long time to load.

I certainly called no one the b word. I don't even know the woman. I said her comment was ... I was defending the orginal poster and her, and my right, to state our opinions without being called whiners.

I assumed that the mispelling of her name was intentional. Regardless, you can argue semantics all you want, but the fact remains that not only are you entitled to your opinion, she is entitled to hers.

I hate it. I hate that Tv that always pops up. I don't like the layout either. You are not alone! I guess we are creatures of habit LOL

ummm.. I have not had the problems others have had.. i even live in the islands and we have a lot of problems..

Maybe you need to give it time and just go with the flow??

It's ok takes some getting use to! But we all love the knot! Sometimes the knot tv is good! I like watching other peoples wedding's give's great ideas!(lol)
