Is this 'bridal' enough?

i need some opinions...i am a young bride getting married next year...i found this dress at macy's, it's not really a bridal gown, just an evening/prom gown, but i really like it...do you think it would work as a wedding gown?

Add a veil, a bouquet and you're good to go! You don't have to spend a fortune to have a wedding gown!

If you're having an evening wedding, I think it would be fine. Good choice and a great way to save money (and not look like every other bride)!! Enjoy!

and I think that dress. Is freakin. Gorgeous. How far away is your wedding?

I don't advocate getting the dress more than a year out of your wedding because... you have eyes.. and they like to browse.. and want things. lol

However, that dress is such a reasonable price even if something did happen and you fell in love with a diffferent dress, you won't be taking a huge loss (and you could get it altered into a short, hott dress for the bach party

)

It's extremely clingy. And the material looks thin, and it's going to show every single flaw (and probably make up a few). I like the dress well enough, I guess, but I would definitely try it on first and be sure that slinky/sexy is what you want to be married in.

i've already tried it on...3 times today lol and i love the way it fits. the fact that its not too revealing on top makes up for the slinky fit.

I think it's very pretty. If you wanted to feel a little more traditional, you could add a long veil for the ceremony to give you a bit of a train. I surprised myself by how much I liked that look, so I'll be wearing a long veil.
