Quick turn-arounds... David's Bridal? Alfred Angelo?...?

Has anyone ordered a dress and had it delivered in 3 months? 4 months? What company did you use?

  • I don't know if their bridal gowns are like this, but I can tell you my bms ordered their gowns from David's & they were in in 2 weeks!!  I would say call & ask them how long it takes.

  • It all depends on if they have the dress and the size available to ship right away. Both my sister and other BM ordered from DB and the dresses were here in a week! I ordered my wedding gown from a private small bridal boutique and it was set for 6 months and it was in at 4, but I've been told that I have been extremely lucky with all my dresses and the timeline's so...
  • i was lucky, they had my size at Davids Bridal, and since my dress happened to be discontinued, it was the last one they had! so they couldnt order another one at all (theyve tried before with other people) so I walked out with my dress :) the Bridesmaids dresses I was told would take a month and took about a week.

the bad thing is that they call THE BRIDE and not the BRIDESMAIDS themselves to let them know they are in
  • I was told my David's Bridal dress would take 12+weeks to come in.  I order it in October and one month later it was in!  I was SO happy about that.

  • David's Bridal usually is much quicker in their delivery than they tell you.

  • The only times I've ever bought from David's, I walked out of the store the same day with what I needed.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • I ordered my wedding dress from David's Bridal at the beginning of November; it arrived yesterday.
  • I ordered my dress from Alfred Angelo back on 9/21 and it came in just about 2 weeks ago, so mine took just under 2 months.
    Little one is here.
  • My BMs ordered their dresses from David's Bridal at the beginning of the month and they said they wouldn't be in until December.  To my surprise, they came in about a week later! I called today to see how long FG dresses would take to come in and she said I should get them in soon because a lot of people order in January through March and the orders take longer to get in.  Hope this helps!

  • Definitely! Thanks for all the responses!
  • When I ordered my dress, it was a brand new style and only being previewed at some Davids bridal stores. I ordered it in August and I got it just before christmas, so it took about 4 months.   They originally told me up to 6 since the dress was out all over yet.   our BM dresses took about a month to come in and the FG dresses about the same.
