Open Toe or Closed Toe for Bride's Shoes

 I am searching for shoes for my dress and I found some shoes that I love, they are Peep Toe Heels. Is it tacky to wear a peep toe with a wedding dress? I absolutely love these shoes....My fiance thinks it wouldn't look good, I want some more opinions!

I LOVE peep toe shoes!! I don't think it would be tacky at all. You can wear whatever makes you feel good and looks great with your overall look.
Take some pics of yourself with the shoes and dress to get the full effect and then you can decide.

Also, how long is your dressm - would many people even see the shoes?

my wedding is this summer and im wearing closed toe shoes. I just couldnt find a pair of strappy sandals at the time when I bought it. 

It really doesnt matter if your shoes are close or not no one will likely see them.

My shoes are peep toe and I love them.  I didn't want a full closed toe shoe for the summer.

I was searching for an open-toe shoe or, perhaps, a strappy sandal.  I ended up with closed toe pumps.  I don't think it matters, honestly ... as long as its comfortable.

Definitley not tacky at all! I wore peep toe heels for my wedding last year and they were gold to go with my wedding colors. Most brides these days have ventured away from the old fashioned traditional white closed toe shoe and have opted for brightly colored shoes and a peep toe or an open toe that will show their pedicure.

I wanted a strappy heal at first...but after thinking about it I knew I'd need something with a little more structure if I was going to be wearing theses shoes all day long so I went with a peep toe shoe.

I'm having a spring wedding and I have really hot feet (could never wear footie pajamas as a kid) so closed toe shoes would not have worked out very well for me!

I LOVE my shoes (click for a pic), they are comfortable and very cute (in my opinion!) I think that if you can find a shoe you love and is comfortable, go with it!

I hated peep toes... until I tried on a pair, and now I'm hooked. My wedding shoes are D'Orsay, a particular style of peep toe. Go for it!

I wore peep toes shoes.  What matters most is that you'll be comfortable in them, maybe 5% of guests, if that, actually see your shoes if you have a long dress.

Depends on your feet to some extent. I have nothing against peep toe for others, but my sister and I can't wear them. It looks like we are giving everyone the middle toe.

I like closed toed or strappy. Only because my second toe is a little longer than my big toe.  And guess which toe sticks out that hole?! Damn you, Genetics!!!
