Help, i'm SO clueless!

Hi I'm planning for a winter wedding, December of this year.  I was interested in the brown/green color scheme.  Something like chocolate brown/celedon.  I have no clue about colors whatsoever or which color goes with what.
Are those good colors for winter?  I try to think of something else but i keep coming back to it, also if I go with those what type of flowers would go with that.  BTW  the wedding style i am leaning towards is traditional.  Appreciate any help you can offer, thx!

  • Now-a-days, any colors can be incorporated with any theme/season/wedding style, etc.  Brown and Green are beautiful together!
  • brown and green is gorgeous, you could do green cymbidium orchids, or white flowers, or white poinsettas for a winter wedding would be lovely,
  • Welcome to the club fellow December bride!

Most of the brides on the December board are doing golds, reds, whites, blues and silver.  My colors are white, black and silver because we have an art deco/Christmas theme.  Ballroom will be whites and silver with black accents; cocktail hour will be Victorian, traditional Christmas with golds.

Brown and celadon are a bit springy/summery, but if you like the combo then go for it. Join the December board!

    Have fun!!! :)
  • Thx for all the tips esp the floral choices dizz.  Portia I was thinking the same thing about the colors which had me so confused but then i thought if i do the bridemaids dresses in satin it will have that jewel tone quality as opposed to the chiffon which makes it look uber summery.  I think this is better than my other alternative where everyone just shows up naked.Tongue out
