I've been at work since 5:30, and will be here until 6:30, so....long day ahead. But the paycheck is worth it. I feel your pain, B and Steph. I can't wait for the long weekend. H is taking Sunday off so I have all day with just the 2 of us. With our schedules I feel like we've hardly seen one another.

Right now I'm debating whether or not to kick my co-worker in the shins. She keeps repeatadly slamming the mouse down on the desk and sighing loudly over frustrations we deal with every day. It's 7:30 in the morning. Get over your temper tantrums already and grow the fvck up.

I'm excited for the weekend.  I got the first coat of paint up on the "library" wall last night, and it's looking better already.  It will be so nice to be living in a house with colour again.  At least, a colour that's not peach.

I had 2 big beers at the pub, 3 little beers at my aunts house, and then 6 big beers at my house. I remember all of last evening so I think the drunkness caught up to me while I was sleeping. I really REALLY just want to go back to bed and not go to work.

I am trying to find some illness I can fake to get out of work early today... I havnt come up with anything. I cant fake anything stomach related because I jokingly said I was going to eat some bad clams so I could leave early, yesterday. Saying that was a bad idea.

Oh man this sucks. Driving here sucked the worst, I drove as cautiously as I could but somehow I felt WORSE once I got in the car. Thank freaking god I only live 4 minutes from my office and only have to go down 2 streets to get there. I feel so awful.

Good Morning, and Happy Hump Day.

We are going down to my home this weekend to see my family. We're having a big get together at my sisters restaurant with all her children and grandchildren. And my brothers should be there who I havent seen in years now.

And getting together with my ex to try and get our kid on the right track. It's killing both of us doing the tough love crap. So this ought to be fun,NOT.

In other news, my paycheck has disappeared from my checking account and I am now overdrawn.  WTH?  I deposited my check yesterday; it appeared just fine last night when I checked my balance.  I log on this morning, and there's nothing in my account.  No record of the deposit . . . nothing.  I've called the bank and luckily I have my receipt from yesterday.  I don't need this today.

TY OWN, actually we get along just fine. It's just that our son will be 20 this year, and we cant make him do what needs to be done. Everyone has tried to help him and he just snubs his nose. And he has excuses for everything.

My wonderful husband has offered for him to come live with us and he will pay for him to go to college,nope he wont move. He used to work for his Dad, and threw a fit so his Dad fired him. My son has a temper that I think is going to get him in trouble. He's a good kid he just refuses to go down the paths we lay out.

Hope you get the bank thing figured out, I've had things disappear before. Usually its a glitch,but I know it's scary to think things might bounce.

That's an impossible age, too, because they think they know everything and your influence over them is very limited.   Hugs to you.  He'll come out on the other side, eventually, but it is so difficult to go through.

We are still on for the 2d!  I don't have a real head count yet, but I figure a few weeks into September we can repost and see who's coming.  I heard that abbalish and stackeye might come, so I am super excited about seeing them, too.

Dog woke us up twice last night! I really have to get her out of that, She is the most adorable attention monster in the world, but still.

Good to see the weekend in site. Work is tough, and to go a bit TMI I have a bladder issue acting up (sorry!).

We are headed out of town for the weekend. Horray!
