- you actively disdain bad parenting but your pets are just as bad.

- you whine you can't afford an open bar but then have a huge honeymoon, limos and top notch photographer.

- you want to have a 'green' wedding but you get mad and throw a fit when your floral selection is limited by which flowers are in season locally at the time of your wedding (experienced this the other day).

 - you bash all your friends who are married/engaged/in a serious relationship when they don't want to go out and get crazy with you on a Friday night and whine that we never make time for you even though we try, and the MINUTE you get into a relationship you disappear off of the face of the earth.

Not that I'm experiencing this with one of my BMs or anything like that.  ::sigh::

Is it sad that none of us can really come up with anything that isn't driving related or wedding related.

So. . . when you believe that living green is the only way to go, yet you cut down every tree in you back yard that obstructs your view of the mountain.  

Yes this is FI dad and yes he knows it's hypocritical and admitted it.  I wasn't the one that said it first, don't worry I love FFIL

Exactly. I totally respect people's values that they choose to live by, but harshly judging others is not cool, especially when you turn around and do the very thing you chastise others for. Plus, that's just nasty to jerk someone off when there are other people around. ;)

Okay, here's a work-related one (I work in a customer service call center): "I'm not racist, but the black girl at the (restaurant name) in my area was rude to me just because I'm white.  She got all the other customers mad at me and they're all black too.  My safety was threatened because I had to walk to my car in the dark after that and I was sure at least one of these people was going to come after me.  You really need to build a location in one of the nicer neighborhoods around here."

No joke.  That customer got a big eye-roll (one of the perks of being on the phone and not face-to-face) and a "we'll let the regional manager know."  We know from experience that anyone who calls us and starts with "I'm not a racist, but..." is a big hypocrite and we're in for some BS.
