Groom's Cake

Hey Ladies!

I am in the process of ordering my grooms cake and for a cake in the shape of a Mustang with alot of detail I got a quote for $175, It is only going to serve 50 people. Does that seem high to anyone. I have no idea how much it should cost.

This is something that is going to vary greatly in different areas of the country. You should probably post this on your local board to get a more accurate ideas.

$3.50 a slice sounds very reasonable to me, but I'm in a fairly high cost of living area, so it may not be the same.

If it is a shaped cake with fondant...  Definitely sounds like a reasonable price.

Sounds good. In Baltimore they quoted me $7 a slice for the grooms cake
