David's Bridal Regency vs. Wisteria

Has anybody gotten bridesmaid dresses in regency or wisteria from david's bridal? I am very particular with my color and regency looks very blue online in pictures. I saw a dress in person and it looked very purple. I wonder if it will show up blue in pictures? I am trying to decide between wisteria or regency and it's driving me nuts!

You could go into the store and look at the color swatches?  Even try on a dress in those colors and have someone take a picture so you can see.

It probably looks blue because of your monitor, not because it's a picture. I know colors can show up quite differently on my monitor than a print.

I did purchase the color swatches. They don't have the dress in either color although they do have other ones in the same fabric and color. I've noticed the color looks different on different dresses tho.

But, I did take a picture of a regency color on my phone and it looks blue! that doesn't justify it for me tho bc it was on my iphone which wont even compare to the photographers set up!

When it comes to decisions, I tend to freak out lol. then once I make a decision I'm like now why was that so hard? sooo this is my current wedding struggle!

I had the same issue, except between regency and lapis. I ended up deciding that the regency looked way TOO purple after having the girls try them on in the store. I think the Wisteria color is prettier, just my opinion tho :)

Regency is a dark bright purple. It doesn't look blue (to me). I dunno about the other.

What you may can do is go back to the DB you were at, have them look up any dress in the colors you want to see, and see what other stores in the DFW area have them. Then you can go to that one and actually see them. That way you can see for yourself and it may help your decision. :)

    I'm doing Regency -
If it makes you feel any better - the Regency looked more blue in my iPhone pic, too (and worried me at first) but the color in person is GORGEOUS (IMHO) and I am confident that in a "regular" picture will be purple.

Like PP said - The location by me had a dress (in a style/cut that we were not interested in at ALL) in the color, and that really helped me make the decision... maybe see if another location has a dress in that so you can see more fabric than just a swatch?
