Yellow stain on "skins" (white compression top)

Hi girls, wasn't sure where to post this, but I thought some of you may wear similar clothing when working out.

I washed my FI brand new (worn once) white skins compression top. I washed it on cold, with regular cold power washing powder (as on the care label). I washed it on it's own, and hung it out in the sun to dry.

When I bought it in, it had yellow stains on it, almost like it had something spilt on it, on the front and back. I sprayed some friend on it, and washed it again.

They were still there, so I thought what the hell, and put a little bleach pen on it, then washed it straight away. I have just got it out, and the yellow stains have just spread, it looks terrible.

Any one have any tips or ideas? Is it something to do with the fabric? It is lycra-ish, it is in the wash again, then I am going to hang it in the sun, but just wondering if there is something magic I can use.... and also any ideas what the stains could be? The are bright orange/yellow. FI swears he didn't spill anything on it, and the stains are covering the top on both sides, our washing machine is new-ish, so no rust etc, and we don't even own anything yellow or orange anyway.
