Workout DVD's.??

Has anyone had any success with at home workout DVD's?? I am looking to lose weight and tone up, as most brides are, but would prefer to invest in DVD's that others have found helpful.  let me know!

    I just got Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred.  There are 3 different levels of the workout, and each one is only 20 minutes!  I have had some tough trainers/coaches in the past so I was skeptical about getting a good workout in 20 minutes.  Jillian just doesn't let you stop, that's why it works!  You power through 3 circuits of cardio/strength training and abs.

    I think I'm going to stick with it!

  • One home workout video that I've used regularly is called Minna Optimizer Fat Eliminator.  It's cardio with toning exercises mixed in, circuit-training style.  I like it because Minna doesn't irritate me and it's a decent workout when I'm in a rush (30 minutes).  I'm not sure whether it's still available, though -- I purchased it years ago, as evidenced by the fact that it's a VHS rather than a DVD!

    In truth, I think that most any home workout video will help you to lose weight and tone -- as long as you actually do it regularly.  That is to say, the most effective home workout video for you is whatever one that you'll keep doing!

  • Definitely Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred.  It is kicking my butt!!!  I'm on day 5 so far and really like it.

  • I also love the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred... I've been doing it on and off for awhile now mixed in with some extra cardio at the gym. Once I got thru the circuits the first time around I have been mixing it up and switching between the 3. Needless to say, I love it! Plus it is only 20 minutes which is perfect to do before work in the morning! Laughing

  • I recently have been using mmy Netflix instant queue to try alot of differnt videos and narrowing it down to the ones I enjoy. Although mixing it up also makes it interesting.

    I love the 30 Day Shred and "No More Trouble Zones" DVDs by Jillian Michaels.  I highly recommend them.
  • On Demand I like doing the 3 Mile Walk with Leslie Sansone.. I have the DVD from Target but it's the 2 mile walk.. I like doing the 3 mile one On Demand,

    It's a 30 minute work out.

    My favorite other one is Kickboxing called Total Knockout Body with Natalie Yco. 

    It's fun and intense at the same time.. but not too exhausting..

  • I love the Yoga Booty Ballet DVDs. They offer fun, upbeat choreography as well as toning exercises. YBB offers general purpose workouts, as well as workouts for specific needs (HipHop Abs, Cardio Cabaret, Bollywood Sculpting, etc). I was able to see results in a short amount of time, and because of the DVD selections, I have yet to get bored.
