Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

So I've been looking for replacement shoes...

What do you think?
The original shoe:

Other options:
1.  Michael Lolita

2.  Me Too Jeanette

RSVP:  Angelique (but it looks kinda high)...

Also I love these, but cannot justify paying this much for them:

Stuart Weitzman Solitaire

Kate Spade Clarice

Kate Spade Elate

I would probably go with the Kate Spade.  If the problem is that your shoes are too high, then I wouldn't go for something that has the same heel heighth.  I know the problem was the platform too but I think I'd go a little shorter.  However, those are all beautiful shoes!

    Edit:  Kate Spade Elate.

They are all cute.  You probably would want to try them on for comfort too, don't you think?

You might take a look at Nordstrom Rack...they usually have TONS of designer/special occasion shoes (including Stuart Weitzman) for really good prices.

Go on a website like Zappos or Endless - they'll tell you the heel heights of each shoe. Make sure you get all the heights from the same website (if you can) though, because each site measures slightly differently.

Honestly, I vote for Kate Spade.  If you want a high heel, you want something high quality and comfortable.  I could have slept in my Kate Spade wedding shoes, they were so comfortable--even though they were a low heel, they were such good quality.

Whatever you do, try them on WITH the dress and break them in well in advance.  I walked around the house and practiced our first dance in mine.

Thanks!  I'll try to try them on... I tried looking for some vendors of shoes, but didn't see where they sell the Me Too.  They just opened a Nordstrom Rack here in Houston not long ago (yay!), so I will try there tonight.  I did check heel heighth, but they were measured for a size 7 shoe and I am a 5 to 5.5... so I'm not sure if it would be exactly that high (I need to investigate that a little)... but the ones I had above are about a 3.5" or lower (I think somehow when I resized the picture it made it look slightly taller than it should.)

I ordered the Jeanette from shoe buy dot com. They arrived in 2 days and I used a coupon code from retailmenot dot com. They have free shipping both ways and were cheaper than Zappos. It is a great way to try on shoes in the comfort of your home without running all over to find a pair in your size.

Oh, if you have a Broadway Shoes in Houston, stop by. They usually have lots of colored shoes and you can print a coupon online.

yup... that's where I got the original shoe, but there were no other shoes that color besides the Michael one from above and I wasn't too crazy about it, but could make it work if I absolutely needed to... What did you think about the Jeanette?  Was it comfortable?
