Traditional "down the aisle" song

What you most brides playing when walking down the aisle? I have heard about some people doing songs instead of the tradition "Here comes the bride" song. I am getting married in June and just looking for some ideas.

Thanks

A common processional these days is Pachelbel's Canon.

If you have live musicians it works well because it is an easy song to keep repeating until all of the wedding party is down the aisle, and it can just end without sounding like the song isn't over if you or they end up walking faster than expected.

Are you looking for processional (into the church) songs or recessional (out of the church) songs?

Canon in D is definitely the most popular choice with classical music.  I've played the piano at a few weddings and this is the number 1 choice.

I used to love Canon D but it is done so often now that i am a little sick of it. I just looked up Trumpet Voluntary that PP used and I love that one. It has not been overdone, or even done at all in my circle.

I've been to 3 weddings recently that used the wedding march from The Sound of Music.  We are leaning towards that for our wedding as well.  Trumpet Voluntary is my 2nd choice right now.
July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!
